Ventilation Equipment Solution Selection: (2) – Plymovent Model TEV-745-60 Direct Drive Industrial Blowers, 10 hp each.
(2) – Custom canopy hoods
(6) – Retractable Hose Drops with Heavy Duty Balancers, 6” dia flex hose rated for 600-degree operation, lifting poles for tailpipe connections. Micro switches start blower(s) when the hose drop is moved to connect to a tailpipe.
CFM/Static Pressure: 4,500 cfm @ 8” s.p.
Application Solution: Custom canopy hoods used to ventilate refrigerated trailers while trucks were quick lubed for return to service. Adjacent retractable hose drop used to connect to engine tailpipe.
Retractable hose drop system provided direct tailpipe connection to various-sized trucks in adjacent bays and either under chassis or vertical stacks.
The complete system provided flexibility of use for the facility and isolated smoke and fumes resulting in a cleaner and safer work environment.
